Safeguard has manufactured security grilles in Coventry since 1996. We make retractable grilles to the dimensions of individual windows and doors, supplying homeowners, tradespeople and organisations throughout the UK.
Buying directly from the manufacturer gives you a clear route for questions about your opening and the product being made for it. Our team can discuss the configuration, explain the information needed for a quotation and help you choose between self-installation and professional fitting.
Our range includes grilles for standard windows and doors, sliding patio doors, French doors and bay windows. Each type of opening has its own practical considerations, from the fixing position to the space available for the folded grille. We make the product to the agreed specification rather than asking you to adapt an opening to a standard size.
The self-install option is available for customers with the appropriate tools and experience. We also offer professional measuring and fitting in the Midlands, subject to postcode and project suitability. Our five-year warranty covers installation carried out by Safeguard's own team.
Whether you are planning protection for a home or a workplace, start with the opening you want to secure. We can then provide a quotation for the dimensions, configuration and service you need.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does Safeguard Security do?
We manufacture made-to-measure retractable security grilles for windows and doors. Our products add a physical barrier that can be drawn closed when needed and folded aside for everyday access. We supply homes and businesses throughout the UK.
Where are the grilles manufactured?
We manufacture our security grilles in Coventry, where we have produced them since 1996. Customers deal directly with our team when discussing the product, confirming the specification and placing an order.
Which openings can you help with?
We offer window security grilles and door security grilles, including dedicated options for sliding patio doors, French doors and bay windows. For a window beside an adjoining door, choose our combined window-and-door product, including flag-shaped and T-shaped layouts. All configurations can receive an instant quote in our shop.
Do you work with businesses as well as homeowners?
Yes. We supply homeowners, tradespeople and organisations with made-to-measure grilles. For a workplace, our office and commercial grille page explains the relevant options. Tell us how the premises are used so the discussion includes access as well as the opening itself.
What warranty is included?
Our five-year warranty covers installation carried out by Safeguard’s own team. It does not cover self-installation and is not a five-year product warranty. If you need help with your grille, contact us and our team will help you find a solution.
How do I get a quotation?
Get an instant quote in our online shop by choosing the product for your window or door and entering your measurements. All our products and configurations can receive an instant quote. After you order, our team will check the measurements and specification with you before manufacture and dispatch. If you would prefer help with a quote, contact us. Photos are optional.
Can Safeguard measure and fit the grilles?
Professional measuring and fitting are available in the Midlands, subject to postcode and project suitability. Confirm availability when requesting a quotation. We also supply grilles across the UK for self-installation, with measuring guidance and product instructions.
Why buy directly from Safeguard?
You can discuss your opening with the team responsible for supplying the grille and confirm the specification before it is made. We have manufactured in Coventry since 1996 and provide a direct point of contact for product and order enquiries.
