The purchase of any security product is as important a purchasing decision as you will ever make. It could literally be the difference between life and death. Like all industries, there are reputable and not so reputable companies and individuals.
Rather than give you a list of reasons for choosing us we strongly recommend that you ask the following 15 questions (and demand proof of the answers if you are in any doubt) before committing in any way to the purchase of any security system.

How long have they been in business?

Are they a limited company? What is their Company registration number? (should be on their letterhead by law)

Will the installation be carried out to ISO9000 UKAS accredited Quality Standard? (logo should be on their letterhead and will have a crown and tick)

Is the system manufactured to ISO9000 UKAS Quality Standard?

Do they manufacture the system themselves?

If not, who does and what quality accreditation do they have?

What warranty is there and who is that warranty with?

If it is a manufacturer's warranty does it cover the installation of the system?

Who will come back in the event of a dispute between them and the manufacturer?

Are they prepared to let you see an installation at another property?

Is the person you are dealing with a surveyor or a salesman?

Will he produce a printed quote there and then?

Will it be him that comes back and installs it?

If it is not him, who will it be?

Has he or whoever installs it been security vetted by the company? (can they prove it?)
